Data Talks 4th – 6th March

Data Talks is a new virtual showcase for Essex taking place 4 to 6 March. Data Talks brings together a diverse array of public and private sector expertise all with a shared passion for transforming data into actionable insights to achieve real and positive change.

Designed specifically for the public sector by, the diverse programme of live Data Talks offers something for everyone, whether they are a senior leader setting organisation strategy, commission or manage services, or have access to data in their role.

During the 3-day conference, delegates will hear from a variety of presenters who will be sharing expertise, learning and case studies demonstrating how they turned data into action.  Sessions covering topics including AI, breaking down barriers to data sharing and the importance of data ethics as organisations embrace recent technologies and approaches, are just some of the many sessions available to sign up to.

Delegates can also find out more about how digital literacy is here to stay and how, by 2023,  it will become the most in-demand skill by business leaders and employees alike! Experts from the Essex Centre for Data Analytics and Office for National Statistics Data Science Campus will be presenting a joint session emphasising the need for organisations to adapt by adopting data literacy and building essential data skills across the workforce. Health partners will present their case studies on how linked data is helping to transform approaches to health and care services.  Healthcare colleagues will discuss how this has collective insight into populations, communities, and individuals.
