Coronavirus affects the way we can worship, practise our faith and mourn and say farewell to loved ones.
Essex County Council have worked with representatives of local faith organisations to put together guidance to help you understand what you must do (including registering a death, funerals and mourning, and bereavement support). Guidance is based on advice from the Government and Public Health England.
Eligible residents who use heating oil may be able to access support through the Crisis and Resilience Fund this winter. A record turnout of 135 people took part in The Robin Cancer Trust’s annual Pants to Cancer walk, raising £4,500 for the charity. Supporters of all ages took part in the seven mile walk from Clacton pier to Walton pier, with participants encouraged to pull bright pants over their clothes and shout ‘Pants to Cancer.’
