Hyperlocal Fund 2023 – Funding Update

Community 360 is delighted to announce the North East Essex Hyperlocal Fund administered on behalf of One Colchester, has awarded £252,018 to voluntary and community groups in Colchester. This was matched with £19,845 from the Age Well Domain and £10,994.45 from the Feel Well Domain Funding.

38 community organisations have benefited from the funding to either support and deliver local neighbourhood projects or support cross border projects in Colchester, north, central and south. 40% of the organisations had not applied for funding before.

The purpose of the North East Essex Hyperlocal Fund is to support non-profit groups based in local communities to build resilient local Neighbourhoods that help to improve health and wellbeing for its residents. From reducing the burden of deprivation and inequalities to improving mental health, tackling isolation and loneliness and improving physical health.
