Hamelin Trust is offering an exciting new opportunity for a passionate, dedicated, and skilled Director of Care to join them in their period of growth and expansion. We have ambitious plans to develop inclusive, compassionate communities where people live the life they choose. With a history of over 40 years of experience operating in care, we provide personalised support for

You will be someone with a proven track record in the social care, health or a related sector. Whilst having recent experience as a Director for Social or Health Care Services is preferable, we are open to attracting the rising stars who are ready to step up and can become future leaders. You will be able to demonstrate a strong ethos for working in collaboration and through integrated services both across the local authority and with key partnerships, notably care, health and the voluntary sector. You’ll have a natural ability to use resources effectively and promote a culture of personal responsibility and accountability.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the Director of Care will have the following
responsibilities:
< Providing care leadership, drive, and innovation in the provision and development of our
services.
< Ensuring a culture of excellence and robust governance.
< Working with the CE and SLT on the future development of care that we provide.
< Ensuring a high quality of service user safety, experience and providing a culture of
openness, learning and innovation.
< Leading on all safeguarding aspects.
< Shaping and implementing the strategic care direction of Hamelin Trust.
< Driving research, education, and innovations regarding best evidence-based care for
individuals, families, and communities.
< Ensuring that services are developed in partnership with stakeholders.
< As a member of the SLT, the post holder will also contribute to the broader strategic
development of the organisation.

If you are interested and are inspired to help lead the next phase of our journey, we look forward to
your application.
