Could you make a difference in your local community?

Posted on: August 19, 2025

Mind in West Essex are looking for more befriending volunteers in Uttlesford. If you live in the district and can spare 1 hour a week to support someone in your community, get involved today!

Befriending makes a real difference to the lives of people who may otherwise be lonely or isolated. And it can be a rewarding and valuable experience for yourself.

You’ll regularly chat with someone in the community by phone or in person. We’ll give you training and ongoing support to help you in the role.

💙 Get in touch with Andrea today – call 07977 807793 or email volunteering@MindInWestEssex.org.uk – or visit mindinwestessex.org.uk/get-involved/ to find out more and apply.
